I know I’m here in your inbox when you didn’t expect me to be (newsletter isn’t due until next week!), but bear with me because I have an exciting, members-only announcement:

We have a new members hub to help you get the most out of OGC! While most of our magic will continue to live in Slack, we needed a web-based home to centralize all the other goodness.

🔎 A more reliable and useful members directory

Searchable & filterable, with fields for how you can help others and what you need help with yourself. Be sure to write a thoughtful headline so folks can learn about you at a glance.

🤝 Accountability sprints to keep us moving forward together

Each month we'll launch a set of three 30-day accountability sprints that you can opt into: launch something, career shift, and job hunt.

You'll provide async updates to the group each week to stay accountable, and attend an optional kickoff and wrap up call to reflect on how it went.

❤️‍🔥 Interest groups with monthly virtual hangs

Today, our interest groups include parents, investors, founders and consultants. Each group has a scheduled monthly hang time to catch up, and over time we'll gather group specific resources in those hubs. More groups launching in 2024!

🗓️ An easier to navigate events calendar

This platform makes it much easier to filter through and find events that are relevant to you. All events associated with the groups you join will appear in your calendar.

Join the SF, LA, NYC, Boston, Austin or DC city groups for local meetups, relevant interest groups for monthly virtual catch ups, and view community-wide virtual events led by our members.

🗝️ A resources hub so you can find all the links

There are lots of great resources but they can get lost in the shuffle. Now they're all in one nice neat sidebar, and we’ll add more here as we go.

🧠 A slack app for easy info access

Go to apps and search for OGC member site, then star the conversation to keep this top of mind for you. It’ll quick link you to events, or back to the member site if you need anything.
